Totally up to you. I'm just a better to be safe than sorry kind of person. Figured the hole was pretty small, but our state is filled with enforcers who are also pretty stupid.

I hear you. I have thought about trimming and putting the other cap on there. But if that is considered a thumb hole, the Exile Hammer Head and a couple other new grips I've seen under development on here would be in the same boat.

Yeah the Hammerhead can be iffy on some setups. Does the top of your grip touch the bottom of your stock?

No, it does not touch. I've got fairly small hands and I can't get my thumb in the hole. Unless you are 5 years old it's probably safe. And if your hand is that small you can't reach the trigger and the hole at the same time. It is just a matter of how far enforcement will go. Even the Thordsen stock with all the open room between it and the buffer tube could be construed as a "thumb hole stock" . Technically they don't touch, but if a DA laid it on a table next to a true thumb hole stock in front of a jury in this state I would not take bets on the out come. I would hope the part of the law pertaining to the web of the hand above the trigger would be the determining factor, but once again any one of us with any of these options could be an unfortunate litmus test.

Everyone that's inventing and selling all these "compliant" fixes are making a lot of money when no final rules have even been set yet. They must be DOJ mind readers or just good marketers making a quick profit off the paraniod masses. I hope refunds will be forthcoming for all those things when the items don't qualify and buyers find out they've been had.

Agreed.....for all we know they are lurking on forums like this one writing and re-writing their definitions until nothing is legal in this state except a sling shot or bow and arrow.

Installed my 2AZone grip today. It fit with my lower and mates well with the MOE carbine grip. Screwing the allen bolt was tight as the head rubbed against the grip itself for the first 3/4" of tightening.

The grip is fine for getting me featureless but I am really going to miss my collapsible butt stock with cheek weld and pistol grip. This whole setup is very uncomfortable and the MOE carbine stock isn't in the right length for my shooting style. This route is still better than registering. All this stuff is bolt-on so I can revert should the laws change back again.

Thanks @malfini for selling me the grip!

I can agree that at first an underhand grip felt foreign to me, but after you shoot it a couple times it does start to change. You have to re-learn as you are changing your entire grip on the gun. As far as the length of pull, there is a thread going on right now for the moe fixed stock. Notch the buffer tube where you want the screw to go to fix to at a longer fixed length.

There are also You Tube videos on how to extend the fixed carbine stock even further out on the tube. Pretty cool actually and something I need to do with my AR10. With it's recoil, even with the extended pad, I keep getting bumped in the nose with my extended charging handle latch and have to have the scope further forward than I like.

I also figured out how to modify the spacers provided to give it a cleaner look.

I decided to re-profile the other Magpul MOE fixed stock cap to fit the QR end plate to remove any hole left with the tapered cap. Better safe than sorry IPSICK.

Can someone that owns this grip post a picture of them holding it? I'm trying to decide between this one and the BoAR Grip.
