The clips that come on M67 work great. I have a lifetime supply of clips from my M67. I also have some Czech BXN clips, also fantastic.

NEW SKS Yugo Imports - A Closer Look

To everyone waiting to get theirs in. Here's a picture of the norinco paratrooper I bought the same time I bought the J&G Yugo, after clean up and slight restoration.

It was in really rough shape when I got it. The original owner just wiped the surface cosmoline off and shot it with the cosmoline inside for years, then stored it in a shed. All the parts where the blue has faded or worn used to have rust on it.

I tore the whole thing down, eliminated the rust while preserving the petina, and cleaned out all the cosmoline. Also, the stock was in bad shape so I cleaned it off leaving the natural wear then treated and oiled the whole thing up. Also had a canted front sight that was off 10 degrees, straightened that out as well. She's now a looker.

How much? Please report back when you get it back and tried it out. I think I'm going to do the same thing and send mine in.

I only wish these Yugos would come in blonde. I asked J&G and they said their whole inventory was red.

Did you shoot them yet? How are the front sight post? My seems to be canted. Any advise before I pull the pins and move it over? Same principle as an ak?
I ran 200 rounds of yellow wolf. I want to try m67 but afraid of rust. Does bolt assembly needs to come apart after shooting m67 or just rinse it with water?
                          Thanks a lot.

the front sight on my norinco is canted. i used a laser bore sighter to confirm. i know you're supposed to pull the pins but i just ended up smacking my front sight into place. need to shoot to verify still.

I don't shoot corrosive so i'm couldn't tell you how to clean it off. i heard water but not sure if that would cause rust. you would have to dry it off really well

Water, windex, black powder solvent will all work to clean corrosive residue. Make sure you oil after cleaning.

Not only the bolt and carrier, the gas tube, the piston, the op rod and spring, the gas selector valve, and the gas block need to be cleaned. Hot water first then your favorite cleaning solution, then oil. If you don't clean the gas selector on a 59/66 you won't be able to move it after a few sessions.
