I asked my FFL about ordering ambi mag catch trough them. Answer was Yes, they can order it, I buy it from the FFL. Around $90 if I remember correctly.

2016 I bought LWRC A5 from Discount Gun Mart in San Diego /Morena Blvd location/. It did not have the original magazine release in the box /some rifles I got from other FFL came with BB installed and the original mag release in zip lock in the rifle box/. When I asked the salesperson about the ambi mag release, he said the rifle does not come with one in the box, but we checked other 3 LWRC rifle boxes /they know me there well/, same story, no original mag releases there.
I asked if I can special order one, he got on the phone, and after 5 min he confirmed he can order one from LWRC, and I can buy it from DGM when it gets there. The price quoted was around $90. Never ordered one, the gun is featureless now with BB /I know, this is BS, but I do not shoot it anyway, it stays in the back of the safe/.
This is ignorance from the LWRC company. We have featureless option here, and it is perfectly legal to posses, buy, sell, receive, install /on a featureless rifle/ ... any mag release we want.
Bellow is link from LWRC that clearly states "no shipping to California". Well, NO more LWRC for me, will give my $ to some other company.

I have one, Ive never even used it. Im not left handed, and not operator enough to be shooting left handed doing mag reloads.
