Phase1, yes, still 300blk. Ive converted most if not all my AR to 30+ cal. Not for ballistics but for ease of bullet/caliber selection.

We disagree a little bit on what we prefer but bottom line I felt the same way with my pistol and ended up breaking it down and parting it out. Didn't want to deal with it for a firearm that quite honestly wasn't as fun to shoot, and didn't shoot as well as my 16" AR's.

OK doesn't work if the downside is a felony. AFG are suspect in CA (contrary to BATF determinations). Not worth the risk. There are other less risky solutions.

I like the 300blk in pistol version (10.5"). Shoot great and anything longer, the fps gain isnt much, however, got to stay conpliant so, I had to do what i had to do to not be a felon. I did have a 5.57 in 7" and 10.5. Loud boom but lost a lot of fps. I intended to use it as a hunting pistol but not enough umph so i went with 300blk.
