The $99 model is good enough..
Also consider the Nitrided version. Plenty of tests and reviews on
YouTube.
Here's the NIB $99 test.....

I have both a NiB & a nitrided bcg from them, both for the 7.62x39 caliber. I've only shot commie steel cased ammo on the bolts, which is generally dirtier than western ammo. I have about 800 rounds on the NiB one & it does not exhibit any of the wearing/flaking of that above post. It's not as bright as new, but that's the case with all NiB, even my WMD bolts are a dull silver now. I have no concerns about buying from them again.---------------------

I'm looking to get one of these NIB bcgs from aim. They have three options from 100 to 120. Is it worth buying the 120 or is it going to be the same quality? Anybody own one of these? Should I buy a more expensive one? I want a NIB bcg
Thank you for the advise!

I've got a couple of them and they work well, the finish is nice and doesn't flake etc...
Toolcraft NIB would be another (but that may be where AIM gets theirs for al we know).Comment

I haven't seen an definitive proof on these coatings beyond anecdotal evidence.
Personally, I prefer nitride over phosphate simply because nitride seems slicker and seems easier to clean (see the science there?).
But I wouldn't spend more than $100 on a BCG unless it had some real evidence-based science/research behind its claims.Comment

Thanks for the input guys I think I'm going to go with the 120 dollar one. Anybody have this one ?Comment

NIB doesn't really offer anything that a phosphate one doesComment

I have both (NiB and Nitride) but haven't shot them enough to notice a difference.
NIB = "New In Box"
NiB = "Nickel Boron""Everyone must determine for themselves what level of tyranny they are willing to tolerate.

Or you can get your bcg microslicked at oc custom coatingsComment

I have expo coated and the toolcraft. The finish on my toolcraft seems to be of higher quality. While the AIM isn't bad the toolcraft seems better.Comment
