    Rimfire AR conversion confusion

Which Rimfire conversion has been known to function and gain acceptance in the AR community ? (Military M261) ( Early 70's Atichinsson) (odern Atichinsson) (Atichinsson-Ciener) (Ciener-Atichinson) (Ciener) ?

They all can have a little problems untill tuned. But the 2 top conversions are recently new to the market. Both are based on the Atichinson design. Same as the Ciener.

They are the Spikes tacticle and the CMMG. Both are worth the investment.

I have 2 spikes units, one deicated and one conversion. The dedicated needed a little tunning to run and the dedicated was good to go from the start. Both very reliable.

My model 1 sales .22 upper has been great. I once put 1500 rounds through it consecutively without cleaning it. It did not jam once.

Just took my Ciener new conversion to the range. Shooting was with a Bushy 16" heavy barrel, 1:9 twist. The conversion ate everything I put in it. Probably 6 or 7 different types and brands for at least 100-150 rounds.

There was never a FTF, jam or anything else. Worked perfectly. At 25 yards the accuracy was great.
