We actually do red Locktite BBs when we installed them. To remove them, the advice about heat is right on. Apply the heat at the BB side of the latch, not the riveted end of the latch shaft on the left side of the rifle as it will tend to loosen and just turn freely.
If that doesn't work, lay the rifle BB side down, place a tool in the BB to raise the magazine latch arm above the surface of the receiver. Use a Dremel on the riveted end of the magazine latch shaft. Drive the shaft back through the receiver. Have a new latch handy.I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!Comment
