Featureless Ak

I purchased a WASR 10 AK from atlantic and am wondering what i need to do to make it fearurless? My understanding is it has a fixed stock so all i need to do is change the grip? But is the end a flash hider/suppresor or a brake? I need to know if this is good or it needs to be changed, thanks

As you can see in first 2 pics its threaded so it can be changed easily.

Install a MM or kydex wrap on the grip and you should be gtg. The device on the end of the barrel is a slant brake.

I use a MMG myself and I had to replace the flash hider with a comp. You can also get a wrap on your pistol grip to stay compliant. I would check out fingrips.com

What you have is not a flash hider (a la Maury Povich, you are NOT the father!).

Just a grip wrap and you're good to go.

No, you CANNOT remove the BB, go read the regs posted at the top of this forum...

And IMHO, yes, the brake pictured should be GTG. As long as it is labeled my the mfg as a brake or compensator it should not be a FH or FS.

All you need is a grip wrap, you have a slant brake on your AK..

Yes the Miculek is a brake for featureless AR

I thought if we went featurless we wouldn't have to register and can remove bullet button?

Yes, featureless you can remove the mag lock device.

I was actually one of the few who was going to register with or without a bb would be considered an assault weapon. apparently we cannot remove the bb because that is more illegal and assaulty, which California definition as an assault weapon?

If you go featureless, you can remove the bullet button.. not sure what is so confusing about that. You will also not need to register if you go featureless.
