    Another Option?

Thoughts on if this is a valid option.

The answer for those still living behind enemy lines may be the Lever Release Rifle from Southern Gun Company in England.

And they will just define semi auto as a rifle which does not require manual ejection of a spent cartridge.

      Chuck,

They just outlawed bullet buttons but those were worth it for the years it took them to do it. If you just assume they'll outlaw everything and stop trying then they win automatically.

I think its a much better solution than breaking the action. Im sure someone with better legal knowledge will chime in on this one.

I am just not wanting to, at this time, to have to open the rifle every time I want to change the mag. I'm wondering if this is a better or at least something to consider.

I don't think it will work here. What's to keep you from holding down the bolt catch while firing? Wouldn't that allow it to function normally??? I'm just guessing that you could do it. I don't know for fact.
