Gun store out of state will be just as big a ripoff as a CA store.
Magazines are the only thing worth grabbing. *without getting into state law issues.

Cabela's in Verdi. Sportsmans Warehouse in Reno.

Word to the wise: Unless you are roster exempt, or have a non CA residency, do not go look at the guns for sale. You will leave feeling very depressed.

Try Mark-Fore & Strike Sporting Goods on Kietzke Ln. More of a hunting and fishing store, but they have a ton of firearms on display.

Mark-Fore and Strike can get very pricy.

              Take care

Pawn World on Virginia is a great place for mags, much cheaper than the big stores. If you pay cash they sometimes cover the sales tax for you, it's hit or miss. Tell them you are one of their ebay customers dropping in for the first time. They have a good selection of mags.

Here is their ebay mag listing. They have more in store, all the Glock model mags etc

The only problem is parking. You can park right in front of the store in the little drop off zone if you are going to be in and out quick and there is no one already there. Otherwise park on the street a block or two east on Lake street at a meter, and hoof it.

Juggernaut Arms is one of my favorites. Lots of these guys wont even talk to you when they find out you're from PRK, not this guy he will still take the time to show you all the cool stuff you cant have.

Mark Fore and Strike has one of the largest selection of magazines you will ever find

Yeah they have a backroom with a ton of used firearms, besides the racks out front. High priced though.

Mark Fore & Strike is crazily over priced. $50 for a brick of primers. $45 for 1 lb of H322 powder...I walked out empty handed.
