I found a armalite pattern Ar10 308 lower yesterday from my LgS. Besides the upper to match, what parts do I need to use strictly for armalite pattern? Like. Mags, lower parts kit etc. thanks!!

you may want to check to see if its AR10A or AR10B

Hopefully it was the new AR-10A that uses Magpul mags. The One that uses m-14 mags Are tough to get mags.I know I have 2 of those rifles.Luckly I have a Gang of mags.Comment

The only difference between the Series A and Series B are the upper, the lower, the bolt catch and the magazine catch.
The buffer, buffer spring, takedown and pivot pins are interchangeable between the two types.
The rest of the parts are standard AR-15 parts.Comment

Magazine you can't use the magpul stuff.
That's why the dpms stuff is sought after out here in California anyways.
They still had a bunch of armature pattern stuff but mehComment

Also Correct, the Series B is the older Armalite design that uses modified M14 mags or the newer generation 2 series B mags.My source is Armalite tech support.
Series A uses SR-25 magazines. Series B uses the modified M-14 magazines
