    OLL QUESTION

I'm am looking at buying an AR-15 type rifle from out of state. How can I tell if it is an OLL? When looking at the Kasler list (see link below) the descriptions seem vague. The lower that I am looking at is marked.

    RRA
    CAL. 5.56 MM
    LAR-15

    Thanks in advance.
Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.

You should read up. Start with Bill Wiese's post and subsequent discussion here

The RRA lower has always been controversial on here. Most of the wiser CG'ers say the LAR-15 is fine. Do a search for Rock River Arms and see if the old threads come up where this was covered.

The gun got sold. I guess that is the way things are now. Anything to do with AR-15's is long gone and not coming back for a while. I think I might just by a stripped OLL just in case and wait it out.
