Noveske Gen III build, keep barrel stainless or Cerakote to match rest of rifle?

I tried to buy Noveske everything for my last build. The only non Noveske items are the Magpul CTR stock, AR Gold Trigger, buffer tube kit, and a laser engraved dust port cover. I bought the 16" Noveske Stainless barrel. I am so tempted to Cerakote the barrel to match Noveske's Cerakote. I believe their NSR rail, uppper, and lower are Cerakoted at the factory. Since this will be an Evil Black Rifle, does it make sense to keep the barrel in stainless with a Noveske marked Lantac Dragon muzzlebreak on the end? Thanks in advance. I wish I could have bought a complete rifle, but my wife only lets me buy a few logos each month.

    Thanks in advance.

      Hey Danodog,
Personally, I wouldn't Cerakote(Black? Bazooka Green? FDE? What color is your rifle and what are you matching?) a Noveske stainless steel barrel for face value in the event you ever decided to sell the barrel or rifle(I own several Noveske rifles).

However, If I had to Cerakote a barrel to match the Novekse rifle for cosmetic aesthetics.. I would of chosen (BTW - This is not a performace comparision of the two barrels) Noveske CHF Chrome Lined barrel ($365) over Noveske Stainless Steel barrel ($455) and applied the ($90) savings to Cerakote job.

If Cerakote barrel to match your rifle floats your boat then do what makes you happy. Different strokes for different folks right?

I'm also working on my last "Evil Black Rifle" featureless build (MEGA MATEN / JP ENTERPRISES .308 SPR) and decided to go "High Grade Polish" stainless steel barrel with AAC 90T Muzzle Brake & AAC Blastout Muzzle Device.

Sorry, I don't understand what your question is(Bold in your post above) or what would the issue be if you left the Noveske stainless steel barrel as is with Lantac Dragon muzzle brake?

      Good luck with your quest.

I put together a clone of the Noveske Project Ares Omni Guns exclusive down to the detail of cerakoting the SS barrel black. If you are going for an exact clone, I say go for it.

I say coat it to match. It would look much better. Went through same thing. Stainless (bead blasted) didn't match with the OD green cerakote so I went with black also. I don't think it would hurt value or performance at all. I think my Noveske builds look so good, the Noveske family would want to adopt me. Lol.

I did the same as you, bought all parts as I could. I went with black chf barrel to save ounces and run full mag dumps, though I did really wanted the bead blasted look. Guess Cerakote it is to get the look you want.
