A shop that will Californicate an x95?

Anyone know of a place in southern California that will bring an x95 in and make it CA compliant?

Botach has a pretty good deal going right now.

FFLs with Assault Weapon Permits are expressly not allowed to make CA-Defined Assault Weapons CA compliant. You need an out of state middle-man suchas as Audiophil2.

        What they said.

Firearm needs to be made CA legal prior to importation into CA.

Botach has the CA compliant one available. But I would personally get one from Preppers Gun Shop.

Buy a free-state dealer conversion from Prepper's (where mine came from), Atlantic Firearms, or Alpha Cat Armory aka audiophil. It's too late for a middle-man, and that costs enough ($150-$200 with one blocked magazine) to erase any savings.

The dealer conversion can be $100 more than a factory CA compliant model, although having IWI add the missing free-state magazine release parts is $120 + $15 return shipping once you register or go featureless.

We pay hundreds of thousands more for houses in California and thousands more annually in income tax. The delta on firearms from state stupidity is insignificant compared to their other drains on our finances.

Complain then comply like the rest of us.

This man speaks the truth. How many of you have really gone skiing in the morning and surfed in the afternoon? If your profession is portable, get the hell out of Dodge. Stop feeding the liberal beast with your tax dollars.

Mom and Dad are only a plane flight away. Tickets are cheap compared to the CA taxes you are paying.

Anyway, I'm glad I got an X95 Tavor. It will be registered next year but kept outside of CA, so no risk of Cali-confiscation, but able to re-enter the state if needed.

Dont buy from Atlantic. Theyve explicitly stated in other threads that they are over swamped with orders and can't guarantee you will get it in time.

If they ship and miss your ffls deadline they will still get to hit you with the hefty restock fee when your ffl refuses the shipment. Be careful Atkantic appears to be trying to work us any way they can for last minute profiteering. Drop a bullet butyon on for $45...really?
