    Second build

I'm panning and hopping on the train of buying before the New Year, it's going to be my second lower/upper stripped set. My first is an ar-15 that is going to need to be registered as it is more tactical/home defense based. Since I'm going to eventually use this second one as a longer range, would it be smarter to go with an AR 10 or stick with the 15.

Longer range than the 5.56 = 7.62x51 unless you want to get into uncommon calibers for an AR15 based rifle.

Why register the AR15 when you can go featureless? For an AR10 type, too.

What does longer range mean to you?

Or take your time, and build a nice m1a. You can buy barreled receivers in almost any combo and build it how you like

I just bought a scout nothing fancy but it's nicer than a featureless rifle and doest have the time problem
