    Thoughts on DD5V1 in .308?

Question for the group- have any of you had an opportunity to own or operate this DD in 762/ .308? Looking to add another rifle before year end and this one is interesting to me. Retails for $2800. Thanks for your feedback!

LMT MWS(?) and youre pushing used Larue OBR territory. Both very high quality rifles.

I also would suggest the LMT MWS. I just picked one up and I couldn't be happier. Both LMT and Larue are Quality.

I saw some reviews that said the ddm5 is a good 308 but nothing extraordinary new....

Having several .308 AR rifles. The new Daniel Defense is Nothing special.Late in the game of .308 AR rifles. If you want AR format get LMT,Or Larue Tactical OBR.Both have easy Barrell change system. Both are hard to find right now.Good luck.Have you looked at Robinson Arms .308 version.

Larue is all about accuracy. If thats your goal, get the Larue. LMT is more about combat guns that run no matter what. Not saying they aren't accurate but I doubt an LMT will be sub-MOA right out of the box.

If I was getting back into 308 (currently working on selling my last 308 rifle in the marketplace), Id go with the Larue. If I was gonna do it, it would be for accuracy. For a fighting gun, 5.56 just makes more sense to me.

Sportsman Warehouse have POF Gen 4 for $2100.
Is this even close to those rifle mentioned above?
Is it worth spending few more bucks to get DD or LMT?
