    Sks legal with this stock

So the sks I have had a black plastic stock on it I really don't care for
I want to order a stock like this. My question is will this be legal come the new year? I believe thumb hole stocks are still okay right?

P.S. My sks doesn't have the bayonet and had the 10 round box mag(unlike this one in the photo)

SKSs must have fixed magazines anyway, so you can put any stock you want on if OAL stays >=30". A bullpup SKS with a 16" barrel might be a problem, but any conventional stock is fine.

I have a Timbersmith thumbhole on one of my SKSs....as long as you have a fixed mag, you are GTG.

Doesn't have to restrict his options to conventional stocks. He could have a folding stock on it. As long as it uses a fixed mag, hes fine with any stock he wants (even a folder) as long as OAL of rifle is over 26"

OP said he has a regular fixed box mag so hes good with any stock he wants (since an SKS with that 22" barrel will guarantee hes waaay past the minimum length requirements).

Only stupid thing about SKS's in CA is that any SKS with a detachable mag is an assault weapon. Yes, its a retarded law, written by retarded democrats. Shocker

IIRC, for semi-autos in CA, the minimum length with a stock folded has tobe 30 inches, otherwise it's an assault weapon.

Thumbhole stock is a "sporting purpose" stock, which means that 922r compliance is not required.

Any semiauto centerfire rifle <30" is an AW, even with a fixed mag.
