Law changes for AR and questions

Hey all, I'm sure this has been posted on here before and I'm a novice when it comes to ARs and such. What are the new laws that are start in 2017 and will I still be able to PPT an Ar15. Will I still be able to buy or sell one through private party?I know the stores are only selling with featureless after this year. If all this is already on a thread please point me in that direction. Thank you

"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ Quiet

I think the answer to the question "will I still be able to PPT an Ar15. Will I still be able to buy or sell one through private party?" is NO.

After 1 Jan 2017, most AR-types with any 'features' become an 'assault weapon'; possession of those that have been possessed in 2016 and earlier is OK, but one is expected to register them; but transfer inside CA is and will be forbidden.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
