    Extended slant brake

    So, looking to next year . . . . .

I have a Yugo underfolder (M70AB2 kit on Nodak) that I plan to register, for a couple of reasons, including that I might be able to unlock the folding stock.

The problem, as I'm sure many of you are aware, is that with the original slant brake, and stock folded, it will only be 25-3/4" OAL; 1/4" shy of legal minimum for a CA AW.

I want to change the muzzle device to get it to a minimum OAL folded length of 26", but without changing the original look more than necessary.

Is there any place to get, or anyone who makes, a replacement slant brake that is 1/4" longer than standard?

I have searched around on-line and have zero luck so far.

Please, let's not get into a discussion of registering or not . . . .that's not the topic here

I have never heard of one.

Could take a longer AK brake, turn down, cut at a slant, and perkerize.

      Like this one?
1.5″ long slant brake for AK47 rifle. These brakes are slightly longer than original to fitguns with longer than standard muzzles, but they still look great and accept bayonets flawlessly. Notched for both LH and RH shooters. Made in USA

Has the final language come out yet, can the bullet buttons be removed once registered?

If it's "as is" like the 2000 reg then I don't know why there's this assumption BB can be removed. Then again, I have no idea what CA DOJ will rule. Just a waiting game as I see it now.

          Thanks Vicious.

I will be surprised to see the final language publish before the beginning of next year.

You and me both. I'm sure it'll have ambiguous clarity, too.
