Just wanted to see if anyone knew if any of the laws regarding SBR or OAL have been updated in CA since 2013. I'm about to buy a complete upper, with barrel length 14.5"pinned to 16", but wanted to make sure that was still legal. From what I can tell, it is, but there's a lot of good knowledge in this forum so thought I'd ask, in case someone knew something I didn't (which happens a lot lol). Thanks!

Nothing has changed. Once your rifle is an AW it can't get any more assaulty so you might be allowed to go down to 26" OAL but that isn't for sure.Originally posted by CSACANNONEERA real live woman is more expensive than a fleshlight. Which would you rather have? -
One thing to consider. If you intend to use the upper as "featureless" at any time, you may NOT use a flash hider. I've got one upper that can never be featureless because it has a pinned flash hider instead of a muzzle break.sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.Comment

It's possible to remove a pinned muzzle device. Not usually worth it unless you have a REALLY nice barrel though.Originally posted by CSACANNONEERA real live woman is more expensive than a fleshlight. Which would you rather have?Comment
