Just get any mil spec lower for less money and crudely draw a pony on the side.

Or get a complete colt rifle.

I have a few of the Colt lowers from Arms Unlimited and aside from the hammer, they are the same ones you get with 6920's now.

Maybe call Retting in Culver City?

I picked up a colt complete lower, but it was for a MARC 901.

I figured it sat there because while the MARC lower will work with any AR-15 upper, it required an additional conversion kit [$180] + the AR-10 uppers for the MARC system are proprietary to Colt.

I picked it up since I wanted a complete Colt rifle for a change and managed to track down the 901LE upper from an online reseller.

Haven't seen any normal colt complete lowers floating around aside from that MARC unit.

Anyways I picked it up over at Culver City at Retting, they had a few other "branded" roll mark complete lowers.. I think I saw a LMT complete lower there. If they had Colt MARC 901's then they may occasionally get the OEM ones as well.

I thought the buffer was different also?

Thanks for the additional info, fellas. I really want to find a Colt lower for my LWT Colt upper.

And, for the record, I do have other rifle that have different lowers, but I am a Colt fan, so I don't want to miss my chance to have an all Colt rifle. YMMV.

Only if you don't mind putting the work into completing it. Other than that, try any of the gun auction sites.

I bought one of those lowers. It is not an LE901 but rather the AR901 due to the lack of ambi controls.

Wish you guys had mentioned that. Not bummed about the mag release but was super disappointed at the lack of the ambi bolt release and even the lack of machining to add one on at one point.
