    ? Regarding AR 9mm's

    I see some AR hammers on lowers and it's been stated these hammers are notched for 9mm use.
    A) How can I tell if any of my current AR hammers have this notch? I'm unfamiliar with it.
    B) What exactly is the notch for? Does it hurt to not have it on a 9mm AR?

      If your 9mm bolt is ramped you an use a standard 223/556 hammer.

      If its not then you need a dedicated 9mm hammer.
