Here goes, where is the optimum center of gravity on an AR 15? I am trying to balance my AR. I suppose it has to do with what the gun is used for. My first build I designed for close in with some reach. My second will be a large caliber long barreled AR.

too many different variations of ar15s i think you have to just kinda measure yours on your own -
The optimum center of gravity would probably be the midpoint between your two main points of contact while standing, which I would consider your forward hand and shoulder. This would of course vary depending on where your forward hand is. If you're talking about a bench precision rifle, you can push it forward more and make it front-biased.Then anotherhorsePONY came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a huge sword. My kinda guy.Comment
