Has anyone ever bought or used the sks from Big5. I think it said sks 56/91 or something to that effect. I dont remember exactly. They dont look terrible and they are not too expensive. This might be a decent buy for now till all the other prices stablize. Any input?

Last time I saw one on their paper ad it was $399, that is too much. I would invest into a Russian one. Technically yugos aren't even sks's.Comment

Yeah, for 400.00, I'd rather spend a little more and look for a Russian SKS.sigpic
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms, disarm only those who are neither inclined, nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants. They serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."
-- Thomas Jefferson, 1764
