Serbian Special Forces adopting the Grendel

Looks like the Grendel is finally being used by a national military. In this case in a sniper role in the Serb Special forces.

Yeah, it sucks. They also make brass cased (Wolf Gold) but can be hard to find online. Kinda like their 5.45 x 39.

Memnon, per the article " Procurement procedures and necessary tests should be completed by March next year, when the new weapons in the hands of the military and counterterrorist protivdiverzanata Special Brigade."
It's being fielded/tested. Doesn't mean fully adopted.

I did.
The article says it is being tested.
LOTS of stuff gets tested and not adopted.
Nothing gets adopted before successful testing is complete.

Wat? Russia hasn't been Serbia's mother for years.

If it happens, and why shouldn't it, the U.S. military will be outgunned by a small country with smarter leaders.

Maybe I'm wrong but it always seems to be the militaries that never actually go to war that adopt the fancy rifles and calibers....

They would be alone on that one. Serbia isnt in NATO and Russia is a close ally. I doubt it gets adopted. That being said i wonder how long 7.62x54R has left if they are looking to alternatives on thier Long Range weapons.

Wolf steel Grendel is sloppy plinking ammo, a waste of a precision SS barrel.

Anyone have a lead on their Gold Grendel?
