Is this bag a good purchase for a 14.5" AR?

I had that same one. It was decent for the price, but ripped at the seems after about 6 months (on the zipper line).

NcSTAR cases have poor stitching in my opinion.

Went with voodoo tactical for $60. Good quality and lots of storage for range trips. Worth the extra $ considering you will have it for some time.

That bag screams "i'm carrying a rifle" with the shape and mag pouches outside. I always feel like a target whenever I'm walking outside with my bag so I prefer these bags. You may not be as paranoid as me.

I found just the opposite. I bought a Carry Handle Scope Mount, its about .005 to big to fit in the Carry Handle. They Don't carry/make the model I have and said I had it to long, so no warranty. Its a Manufacturing Defect..... but I can go kick rocks.....I will never buy anything NCStar and recommend nobody by anything from them either.

Condor rifle bag for me, just about the same as the Voodoo bag but dump/mag pouches are removable, great stitching job and good cs if needed from what I've seen

Full plate carrier w/ medical, level 3 plates, D3CR, etc. (I may never wear it at the actual range, but its nice to bring along and i know exactly where my medical is.PC is more of a BLM land thing)
Oil
Targets.




My duffel bag is red. Not many red bags. If someone hurts themselves and im tending to them, i can yell "MEDICAL. THE RED ****ING BAG" and they can open it and see the medical marked pouch.
