Cz scorpion Evo 3 s1 carbine

Just picked up my cz carbine. There are two problems
    1. It is hard to pull the charging handle. At the beginning, it was very tight, I mean not tight tight, it was like stuck tight. After a couple tries, it smoothed out a bit.

    2. Tried to cycle it with my Tipton dummy rounds, some can be edited, while some were not caught by the extractor.

Can anybody who is familiar with this carbine give some advice? Thanks in advance.

Take it to a range and run 50 rounds through it. That should clear up or confirm any problems.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, you're doing it all wrong.

I used to have similar problem with one of my ar15s and later I found out it had a tight head space. So I am not sure if I should live fire this carbine before finding out what the problem is.

Most guns need to go through some break-in.

When I had my Scorpion Carbine, the charging handle was a little to hard maneuver at first.

Clean it, lube it, put a box of rounds through it and see how things work out.

Had similar fitment issues pretty snug, same as mentioned above after breaking it down and clean/lube it up it all smoothed out. Great shooter!

                  Go shoot your gun.

A friend's Scorpion carbine charging handle was tight like your's but after we put a few hundred rounds through the gun the it's a lot easier to pull now.
