    AK receiver advice

I'm thinking of building an AK down the road. Anyone know of a good place to buy an imported receiver?

Generally speaking there are no imported receivers sold alone. If you want to get a good one get a nodak, you are running short on time. It would be more cost effective to buy a complete import rifle.

This is the kinda person that shouldn't be building things- go store bought.

I've used Childers Guns polish receivers. They are good to go

They are made using polish parts and made here. For many guns they lack the correct cosmetic features too

If you get the receiver before 1/1/17 you can register it as an aw and have all the evil features

Maybe. We won't know until then.

BB are going to be invalid. The law is fairly clear, once the gun is raw it can have regular mag release and detectable mag. So get one and register it before the 1st of Jan so you have the option to register it as a raw if you choose.

I really hope you are right, but I'll believe it when I see it. I would love to have that silly BB off of my rifle.
