  • Fixed magazine question

I was wondering about ca law. I've been lurking around the forums and from what I understand if you have a way to fix the magazine on a mini 14 you can have all the other goodies like pistol grips and folding stocks? thanks.

Yes. As long as you do not use large capacity magazines.

Yes, fixed build gives you evil features, but it cannot have a high cap (over 10 rnds) mag. Even if you had it before big bad ban

If you add a folding stock, you still need to meet the minimum overall length of 30" IIRC.

Also, you need to measure OAL with the stock folded.

i'd keep the mini the way it is so you can use the pre-ban hi caps. JMO
if you want a fixed mag and PG then do an AR or AK

All true and almost all you need to know...

I want the whole wood OG folder but I like me some pre ban hi caps more and I love being able to pop the mags out easy...

I still want a original folder but for when I move to a "safe" state...

Hey I did not check are you a member on perfectunion.com (it's not a dating site btw) as well?

If you possessed them prior to 2000, you can use them in a rifle with no evil features and NOT in a fixed mag configuration.
