Sorry peoplethread after thread and I still have difficulty understanding featureless! It's easier than many people make it out to be. The law has defined what features are, if your gun doesn't have those features, then it's featureless.
In your case, you're talking about the muzzle. Only a flash hider is a feature; get anything else that isn't a flash hider and it's not a feature. Brake? Not a feature. Linear comp? Not a feature. Thread protector? Bare threads? Not features.
A 'flash hiding compensator"? It has flash hider in the name, thus it's a feature. Don't get it.---------------------
