    Magpul ASAP Ambi Sling Mount

The Magpul ASAP Ambi Sling Mount/Plate looks so perfect with 1-point sling, but knowing Magpul, we probably won't see that for another year or two, if ever.

Now, I want to find something similar which is available now, the CLOSEST I can find is CrossTac Corp's Ambi Sling connector. And if you set your single-point-sling up right with a HK-hook or a ITW-MASH-hook, it should function similarly. Or maybe add a ring or something to this sling mount before hooking up your hook.

Just wonder if you guys know of any other ways, please enlight me....

This looks very similar. I have no affiliation with the seller and will not profit from a sale.

At the Shot Show this past weekend I spoke to the project lead that is in charge of the sling and the mount. He said it was currently in production and should be out next month. Take it for what its worth.

Jiko, you probably don't want to use the HK snap hook:

I understood the limitation of HK-snap-hook long ago.... I will use ITW's MASH hook.

I run the Crosstac Ambi selector, looks discreet and works great.

In reality, I usually run my rifles without a sling because I shoot them at ranges and am not rolling around on the ground in gun fights or clearing houses room to room.

No problem. Let me know how it turns out, I was thinking of picking one up.

Jicko, I like the sling that Magpul showed in the video. Are you using something similar?

I have the Tango Down PR-4, which attaches to the buffer tube without disassembly. Works great.
