sgl 23 mag block replacement help

    sgl 23 mag block replacement help

    sup bruthas, im looking for someone local who can replace a trigger guard assembly / mag block so i can go release mags easier when i go featureless in the future on a sgl23. or if this is something a monkey like me can do can you give me instructions so far the interweb search came up with zero.

      Drill it out the rivet and install the new parts.

        Pretty easy, hardest part is holding the spring in place. I used a set of needle nose pliers. Before flaring the new pin or rivet, test fit a couple different mags. I had to slightly modify my catch release.

          problem im having is no rivet tools i can invest in one but with this california snafu that tool might only be used this one time.

            Do not remove the trigger guard. All you need to do is swap the mag catch.
