Kydex P.G. wraps ?

Are there any DIY kydex PG wrap threads on here? Curious as to what thickness is best to work with. Not too thick, or too thin.

I realize there are folks on here that make them to sell, but I want to try my hand at them first before using their services when I hose things up.
