Ak47 thread types and these flash hiders

    Hello.

Below are two aks. One has a a2 flash hider on and the other one has somethind else, but i saw those on other pistols:

And below are two flash hiders i am interested in:

    I just have two questions:
    1. First of all which one will fit on those AKs
    2. Are these kind of flash hiders legal in California? I see them on the range occasionally as well as ar type noveske pig ones.

    Thanks!

The first picture is a thread protector. AK's typically have 14mm left hand threads as standard, however other diameters are used. You need to measure and see what size you have

      1) None of the things listed will actually work together. The Yugo M92 has 26x1.5 threads. The Draco has 14x1 LH threads and the MB has 5/8x24 threading.
      2) Yes they are.

The question is what AK variant do you have? Is it the m92 or the Draco?

I am choosing between the two you see above. I like them both. Ability to fit or retro fit one of those muzzle devices can be the decision maker.

You can go to AK Builder and get an adapter to convert 14mm to 24mm. The picture of the second flash hider won't work, it is a 5/8x24 right hand thread for .308 AR10

Wait so which gun do you own? If you own neither then the M92 will have more options for aftermarket parts. The damage industries brake will only work on the m92.
