Anyone purchased the "2nds" AR monsterman grips?

There $25, may need some filing and may be discolored? But coming from AKs filing furniture to fit is nothing new, just wondering if anyone has purchased this and what condition of a grip they received?

Yes - I took a file to the inside so it would slide onto the lower.

Just purchased a second. Slot was tight. 2 minutes with a file and it slipped right on. Pretty happy with it so far. Gotta take it to the range to see if its something I can live with long term.

I'm actually interested in this setup, how does it feel to hold?

I saw the disclaimer on the Exile Miad Fin that it wasn't approved... What's the bottom line here in Cali? Seems like a good option of legal.

CA DOJ refuses to respond to requests for opinions on the legality of compliance items as the state has no interest in helping us understand and conform to the laws, only in making things so complicated that the typical gun owner will give up or become an accidental felon. Either way, it seems the state is apparently ok with that outcome as that one less gun owner.

I bought 4 and mine all look great. Haven't tried fitting them yet but I can't imagine that's going to be a big deal.

I got two, they looked perfect. Both were tight, so I filled my CRPA coffee cup with water microwaved for 4min removed cup from microwave placed grips in cup for a little bit, removed grip from cup blew water off and it went right on.

                        Or an A1 stock?

I watched a video on YouTube about pinning a stock and it was pretty simple.

It seemed very straight forward and a simple, inexpensive solution.

Would love comments and insight regarding it.

ETA: OP, I purchased two recently and tried one out. It was a snug fit on my lower but worked fine after I installed it. I didn't need to file it to fit, but I did file it a bit to make it fit with my A2 stock. I also purchased the grip from Solar Tactical and I've been waiting for it to arrive.
