Question on pinning Tapco T6 stock

I like the extra length of the T6 so want to pin it at full extension. I'd just like to pass my pinning method past you all.

The T6 is all plastic, so I have decided to go the screw and epoxy route. In the attached image are the two locations that I plan to drill through both the inner and outer tubs, insert a thick screw with large raised head and then JB Weld over.

On the top there is a convenient hole in the outer tube. Putting a screw into this hole should stop the collapsing action alone as the screw head will catch on the lip of the hole in the outer tube, but I'll add epoxy to cover the screw head and make it a flush surface.

On the bottom I'll just drill a hole, pop the screw in and epoxy over the screw head and over the outer tub material.

Does this sound sufficiently permanent or are there other suggestions?

    Thanks

Thats what i did to one. The plastic isnt very hard. I just put my stock into position and just screwed a screw into the area where the lever to collapse the stock is. I have a magpul stock so it didnt allow stock to collapse.
Ive also screwed it into the top hole as you stated and covered it so it dont scratch or catch hair.

Thanks for the reply. I'm liking that screw into the lever idea as an extra layer of protection. IIRC the thickness of the plastic below the lever is thinner. so a thinner screw would be better than the large screws I am using. Or maybe I'll just live with a fugliness (large screw protruding from side of plastic) for extra security.

I guess you could also remove the lever or the spring-loaded internal rod that allows the stock to be resized. It's just one roll pin to be removed to allow for complete disassembly.
