I USED to have a Russian version SKS, Converted to the magazine style that holded 30rds or 40rds steel mag . Got it back in 1994 but those was the day s when Cal Laws wasn't so crazy. Anyhow I don't owned it anymore but got it a my Local GunShow and paid $200/$300 only. Now with the new laws AW Register... I'm thinking I'll just get myself a SkS again. Safe in both ends, just like the bill 880 which Brown Veto it. If that bill comes up again and different meaning but the same, the sks will be the safe rifle that is still semi-auto. Pluse it has a BBL OF 20inch long or the shortee Carbine version.
