Featureless AK - Monsterman or Kydex Grip Wrap

I settled on a Solar Tactical grip wrap. I tried the Monsterman but found that it twisted and spun on the receiver because the AR-to-AK adaptor required didn't adequately capture the square nut that protrudes through the receiver like the standard pistol grips do.

Could this just be an issue of the bolt that comes with the adapter being too short? Did you try it with a longer bolt?

Of the commonly available fixes, I think I am leaning towards the Monsterman. But I sure like the looks of this AR grip: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1217604 I wonder if that would work with the Monsterman AK adapter?

(AK purists can stop reading now).

If I still have my AR wrap in the big box of stuff I may drop an AR grip and wrap onto the AK to see if it fits and how secure it all is.

It was an issue with the particular AR-to-AK grip adaptor that was being used. I actually just went and looked at another one that I have that is from ACE and it seems like it would be fine as it has molded "shoulders" to align with the t-nut as it passed through the receiver and into the grip adaptor.
