    Identifying gas length

I have a 20" 308 barrel from juggernaut tactical and I'm trying to identify the had length. It says on their website this specific barrel has a mid length has system but when I compared it to my other barrel with mid length gas it was different. I measured the gas system length and it came up just over 10 inches from gas port to barrel extension.

Are you comparing a .308 barrel to a 5.56 barrel?

Although that wouldn't make a difference, I'm comparing it to another 308 barrel

AR-15 Midlength is 8.75" from the FRONT face of the barrel extension flange to the BACK edge of the gas block seat.

        308 AR's have two different standards; AR-10 or LR-308.
        AR-10 is about 1/4" LONGER than LR-308.

The 308 sized AR barrel pictured above is a midlength gas system barrel.
