HPR or HSM .223 55gr ammo?

I have a chance to pick up some bulk HPR or HSM .223 55gr ammo- both at a decent price. I've never heard of either. I'd be shooting through an AR with a 1 in 9 barrel

I had three failure to fire ( after multiple primer strikes) on what was supposed to be a 500 round can of new 55g vmax ammo. Other then the the stuff being loaded in mixed brass, only grouping OK outta a 1/7 barrel and the ftf I don't know what to say. I have about 250+/- rounds left I just use it for varmints for non critical situations.
