    Daniel Defense fixed stock?

Hi All. Of course like all of us, I am considering my options to maintain non "Assault weapon" status. Looking at my Daniel Defense rifles the stocks have levers in non-standard places (see photo). I would like to keep the stock appearance of my rifles if I were to go featureless. Would it be possible to create a "fixed stock" by placing the stock in the desired position then applying a pin to block the adjustment lever, as in the picture below, so it cannot be depressed? All of the "pinned" stocks I've seen drill through the buffer tube, which I would like to avoid. Thanks in advance.

That's what I did with a Magpul CRT.

You would still have the pistol grip to contend with. I am probably going to register because I don't have to worry about clearing malfunctions, and I just love the Daniel Defense furniture. I think it's the best looking furniture in the AR world. I'm leaving the state in the next two years anyway, I'll unregister it before I leave.

Oh yeah! Grip wrap, forgot about that. Still you'd be hiding the awesome Daniel Defense grip. But yeah that would work. I'd use a thread cap instead of a muzzle break though,I shoot indoors.

Thanks for the replies. Of course, the fixed stock is just one aspect of the featureless rifle but trying to consider all options for parts. Thanks again!

It can be "unregistered", its all over the forum. There is one with the doj responding saying we just need to remove all the evil features.

The ones that can not be "unregistered" AW are the tier1 with the "names" since you can not remove the manufacture or model number from the gun.
