Loose gas block was problem. came from cmmg factory that way
I was wondering your thoughts on this. I bought the Complete cmmg MK3 upper group, I bought the CMMG MK3 stripped lower. I built the lower using the MK3 build kit and the MK3 buffer and spring. The only non CMMG MK3 parts used are a Larue tactical standard carbine buffer tube and a larue MBT trigger. I took 2 new 10 round pmags and four kinds of ammo
1 pmc bronze 168gr 308
2 american eagle 308 150 grain
3 black hills match grade 168 grain
4 federal xm80C 149 grain
With the pmc the rifle worked and cycled flawless 100%
with the Black hills it cycled about 50% sometimes not locking back on the last round
With the american eagle and federal it cycled 0% almost all where failure to feeds., Sometimes a round would get pulled off the mag but it would be jammed by the bolt,,, but mostly the rifle would cycle with no round.
0 failure to ejects,
WHat is your thoughts on this. A friend suggested an adjustable gas block. I only put about 150 rounds thru it, maybe to few to worry about it? im used to my ar15s where I expect 100% reliablity , The good news is its very accurate I only went out to 100 Yards but easily 1 inch group 3 of 4 holes touching! (with the black hills)
Thanks for any advice!
