Would this be an option to not register as AW? Would have to top load but when the SHTF and all bets or off its easy reversible and gives you option to sell/transfer and go featureless in the future if you want.

Prince 50 lock option

Yes. from what we know, these devices make sure you have to disassemble the firearm to remove the magazine. This complies with the law, it doesnt make a Fixed magazine...it just makes a magazine as defined in the law as a fixed one... so you dont have to register it.Comment

Looks like armaglock and the new prince device will work. Need someone with expertise to ring in on them. I will switch if ok. No case law yet for Ca. Lotss of dupe posts and hysteria right now. Need to calm down for now.Comment

good find, this seems to be a good option, even better than the BB reloaded IMOWhat about just using this? https://franklin-armory.myshopify.co...y-10-round-dfmComment

That's just another "condition of compliance" if that's what you want to call it. Another word for that would be "legal."
Ultimately this is probably going to shake out like the original BB, CA DOJ will refuse to actually tell you if it complies with the law in the hopes of frightening people into abandoning their rights. For Sale: Off Roster Handgun Moving Sale
For Sale: Off Roster CZ, Browning, PTR 91 Moving Sale

I was just curious that if someone uses this new bb reloaded...when will the takedown pin hole become so loose that it will be unusable? 100 mag changes? 200? 500? 1000?
I can see some serious damage occurring to the lower for that much use of the take down pin.
Any ideas?Comment

That bullet button reloaded look interesting. Too bad it will be a PITA if you get a double feed, same with the Prince. Just looking for options they say FU Brown I'm not registering $h1tComment

I'm seeing it as just the opposite.
The others create a rifle incapable of accepting a detachable magazine in that the action must be open to accomplish a mag change. period.
The new magazine creates a magazine requiring that the action be open to change, but does nothing to render the Rifle itself incapable of accepting a detachable magazine. During a mag change with the DFM mag, you have an "Assault Rifle" in your hands with it's action opened. The statute as I read it is about the Rifle, not the magazine.Comment

Not if you top load and leave the magazine in place.I'm seeing it as just the opposite.
