I like the CLE, but only if all my .223s are CLE chambers.
weg: That device is obsolete now. They replaced it with wizards.
frank: Wait a minute. There are more than one wizard? Is [are?] the wizard calibrated?

Personally when I venture into the world of short ultralights... I don't really care as much about the precision or target potential... IMO you can get away with a LOT less... especially if this build is geared towards a close quarters higher rate of fire type of shooting. I just don't see the point of smoking a match barrel when you can get the same job done for a fraction of the cost using something else.

Spending that type of money I would be more inclined to build up a SPR / Recce type setup with a mid weight contour and really take advantage of what it has to offer.

That said, I have no idea what you want to do with it, but that's just my 2 cents based on a 14.5 pinned and welded ultralight. I'm sure the build is going to be nice either way but there is potential to free up cash for other important areas like trigger and optics if you don't really need that much barrel.

Looking at a barrel from Battle Arms and all they seem to have is .223 Wylde .. will run all the AR 5.56/.223 ammo right?

        Thanks!
the only difference im aware of is the 223 wylde has a slightly different chamber to account for differences in ammo
