You can find certified applicators here: https://www.cerakoteguncoatings.com/resource/locator/?
I've had personal experience with RC Finishing in San Jose. Good guys and they did an awesome job on my stuff. You can view the job they did on m P226 here: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=802830NRA Patriot (Endowment) Life Member

Turnaround time was 10 days.
As for cost, they originally wanted to charge me
$ 75 Frame
$ 25 Grip screws, guide rod, hammer, & barrel
$ 75 Stripped lower
===
$175
But I negotiated and got it all for $150 out-the-door.
Also, I found the pics for the stripped lower if you want to see how that turned out:

that looks good.... you can't even tell it was ever black anodized"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.
CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ QuietComment

Yes. On the P226, the barrel would not go back into battery until I removed some of the Cerakote. Full details can be found in this post: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...64&postcount=9
I had no issues assembling the lower receiver whatsoever though.
It's very durable. The only wear I've seen after 1000+ rounds is on the barrel. But it's the same wear & tear seen on any barrel after that many rounds...NRA Patriot (Endowment) Life Member
