are they all pretty much the same? I just want the generic, no need for any special trigger or special grip

I was looking on eBay, and I see there are some that are being sold as Anderson, and other being sold as RSI, the RSI is cheaper, and the picture looks exactly the same.... Are they all basically the same? Or will quality be an issue, I would like as cheap as possible, but this isn't something to skimp on....

More or less, the usual brand names are all the same.

The differences I've seen are: overall dimensions of the bolt catch and different checkering styles, different color/material of the detents, and some triggers were very smooth/crisp versus some were gritty. (All feel the same weight and shoot the same.)


I would personally stick to the major players, don't think I've ever heard of RSI.

You want a cheap LPK, Get CMMG. TheTrigger is all about feelings

PSA is good, because they have a few choices on what is included or not included. Want no pistol grip? want a Magpul grip? Want an enhanced trigger? Want no trigger? Complete lower build kit?
I have used a few from them a d can't complain. The worst feeling trigger I have ever felt on an AR is from a DPMS kit.

I totally agree. That amount of customization is worth it's weight in gold when you save by not buying and then storing parts that you didn't need in the first place.

I have had great luck with CMMG. Smooth, quality fit. You can find them for 50 or less.

Looks like a great upgraded trigger without any extra expense.

I personally wouldn't buy an LPK from eBay. Those ones you linked to are using stock photos, probably lifted from some other website. I'd buy a name brand LPK from a operation with a good rep.

the difference between an Ebay LPK and one purchased from a Reputable MFG boils down to materials and finishng.
The Ebay and Amazon noname LPKs are generally imported and are made using MIM and not properly hardened to MIlspec or machined to the same tolerances.
Alot of things look the same but are in fact completely different in performance and service life.

echoing the last two posts....buy your ar15 stuff from reputable dealers, just way too much sub-par stuff being sold as same prices.

basic ar15 LPKs are all basically the same, they should all fit mil-spec parts. but stock grips sucks, basically everything is better than that grip.

check out PSA, tomstactical, or fatboytactical for cheap basic LPKs.

Also, look into PSA's lower parts kits with their "EPT" trigger. Sounds like an improved mil spec trigger--same idea as the PNT, ALG, etc.
