I shoot 40 and I have to say that the modern 9mm can do everything that the 40 can.

I have one made by Olympic, love it uses glock mags, not that I would ever use my really long stick maggy things in it, lol

My Olympic upper is 10mm, I suppose one could make a lesser version if they wanted.

              One day I'll cobble together a 460R.

Buy with the low profile gas block and change out the handguard if you want. http://www.rockriverarms.com/index.c...TOKEN=37478507

But can it do everything modern 40 can? No it can't.

i'm not sure about that. i own, shoot and like both and i have to say that i prefer the modern 40 over the modern 9. and because of its extra power (and velocity,) i believe the .40 is more suited to be used as a rifle ammo than the 9.

i heard and read that the sub2000 in .40 is really good. it's just that i prefer to build an AR type rifle for now.
                          thanks.
