Not making excuses for them but when you push out the quantities of products they do, there is gonna be some mistakes and setbacks. I'm actually surprised there isnt more complaints about PSA. I bet for every order complaint I see, there are 9999 satisfied customer orders. I doubt folks will never stop buying from PSA.

But QA/QC before an item leaves the shop, or when it first arrives from a distributor, is critical and will mitigate a lot of the problems that a customer might have from a junk part and/or shoddy assembling. We in Bangor, Maine now baby.Comment

I don't have one of their rifles, I have a complete Franklin Armory build...and I'm happy with it, but I have shot PSA's stuff and liked it. They also seem to get really high marks on reliability (there's a long thread here where despite all the ridiculous abuse, the guy can't get it to fail).Comment

This is true, and I know PSA is a relatively high volume dealer, so by proxy they would have more reasonable occurrences, but haven't they improved their QA/QC?

BUT, if their parts are "quality" then their QA/QC has to be lacking.
There's no other way they can keep their prices as low as they do - especially at their volume. We in Bangor, Maine now baby.Comment

True, they could probably do better with QA/QC...but their prices are so good, you're more than likely to get good stuff from them just about every time, and with other parts and things I've ordered, I've never had an issue. All my friends and family that have their rifles/built with their parts haven't had an issue. If something was off, they fixed it quickly.
I'm not a PSA fanboy or anything, but their $700 rifles seem to be just as good as my $2000 rifle...that either makes mine junk or theirs pretty damn good for the price. Mine hasn't failed yet so I'm not so sure it's junk.Comment

I have two of these 9mm mag wells and have had no troubles so far with them. Just went thru 500 rounds each and no deformation. Likely your extractor wasnt heat treated long enough is all. Could have probably filed it and hit it with a torch and fixed it.07 FFL Farwest Photography

They are coming out with dedicated 9mm lower. Adapters may be discontinued. PMag also has low end adapter if that's what ur looking for. Not sure quality tho.Comment

When you get into their 9mm AR's, AK's, etc, it seems like problems are common. And certainly some of their phone jockeys don't have the technical knowledge to understand nuanced issues. I wouldn't touch their AK's or other proprietary stuff.
I love their regular AR parts, though. Best bang for the buck, hands down. It seems that they tend to release thr goofy proprietary stuff before it's really ready for market.Comment

Their LPK'S and assembled AR uppers are definitely good to go. They are an assembler, not a manufacturer, and their supply chain for standard AR parts are from good OEM's. FN, Toolcraft, Anchor Harvey, Wilson, Magpul, etc. Solid stuff.Comment

Update.
I had sent a follow up email asking how they dont have anymore if they aren't advertising it, the original person who confirmed inventory just said we had them then but not now.....
oh well, I got my money and bought someone elses psa block. This ejector is fine but it the block sits a bit low so it will need some work.
