CMMG .22LR Conversion is JUST the same as Ciener, right?

Did CMMG just buy out Ciener or something?

    Are they just the same?

The magazine looks different, but are they compatible?

I still had some old, old Ciener magazines, they should work with the CMMG .22lr kit right?

Those old Ciener magazines don't work too well for me as I remembered, I no longer had that original Ciener .22lr conversion kit; I got rid of that quite some time ago.

Do anyone know whether I can get those newer Blackdog magazine parts to upgrade my old magazines? Are parts compatible?

I am not sure about the spring but the follower is not compatible.

Is the Spike kit better than the CMMG kit?

I would think if it can go one way it can go the other.

I hav 2 Spikes kits. I think that the only big diffrence would be that the Spikes will run with less lube.

What upper configuration do you have? And are you happy with your Spike's kit?

I have a flat top 16 bbl dedicated and a A1 14./ +perm attached flashider conversion. It took a little tinkering to get the dedicated to run almost 100% but the conversion has ran perfect from the 1st round.

                    Been very happy with both.

Buy some black dog "rebuild kits". Disassemble your old ciener kits completely. Destroy the ciener bodies. Put together the black dog magazines.

You have now legally replaced/rebuilt your old crappy magazines with brand new ones.

                          Go to: 44mag dot com

Add one or more of these to your cart: Black Dog Magazine, 27rd.

Add one of these to your cart for each magazine you purchase: Rebuild kit option.

Remember, at no time should you assemble the BD magazines at the same time that your Cieners are assembled. This would equal manufacturing a new hi-cap magazine. Disassemble your Cieners first before using the BD mags to "rebuild" the Cieners. You might want to practice a little bit of CYA by crushing the bodies of the Cieners and throwing them away. To really CYA, keep the crushed bodies around as proof of your pre-ban ownership and subsequent rebuilding. But no CYA is really necessary.

I don't think this is a LEGAL way to replace a magazine!!

eg. I don't think one can LEGALLY destroy a 30 rounds AR mag and replace it with a new 100 rounds BETA mag.

So, PLEASE DO NOT distribute info that can potentially lead others to commit felonies. (Please point out otherwise!!)
