    Folding Stock Adaptor

I've seen a folding stock adaptor I am interested in getting. However I am unsure if I'd be violating some sort of law in California if I put it on my Olympic Arms AR-15. This rifle has a 16" bbl and a standard stock configuration. Thoughts?

If it can fire when folded, and why wouldn't, you would have legal issues.

It can fire ONCE when folded (and will probably be rendered broken or unusable after).

IMO very gray (rifle is a single shot) or illegal.

Put a sig brace on it and put it on a CA configured pistol. no problem. (though this doesn't answer your question)

I have one. If you fired it folded you would be an idiot. There is no way I would trust that small keeper tab to hold the bolt from flying out. It's very convenient for storage.

As for legality.... there is much debate. IMHO it's not an SBR because the rifle cannot operate safely with it folded and therefore is not a functioning firearm. There will be plenty here who will say I am wrong. None of us willing to be the test case of course. So it goes.

Try putting one of these on the barrel:

so if your rifle with folded stock is still > 30" OAL, you're good to go.

Borrow an idea from AK guys!
